Consumed by the Call : The Story Behind The Ministry

OUR STORY: TURNING TRAGEDY INTO PURPOSE: 

Wade Ivey and I were married for almost 27 years. We had 3  beautiful children, a powerful ministry and a highly successful business where I held a position in the top .1% of my company, but on January 8th, 2017 our life was changed forever!

Wade had just run to the store to get a few things while I finished a work conference call.  We had planned that evening to sit down with a cup of coffee and discuss the upcoming week, as we did quite often, but my sweet husband was tragically killed in a car accident while leaving the store.

The next few days were a blur, trying to comprehend what just happened.  Struggling with our faith in knowing that God could do anything and that God could surely bring my husband and my children's dad home, we prayed and pleaded to God...only to hear God say "No my sweet girl...not this time."

With great courage and determination we took on the daunting task to plan a service that would celebrate and honor one of the most loving and influential ministers of this generation!  This was not going to be a normal funeral service.  There would be worship, there would be laughter, and it would take 4 preachers and 5 worship leaders to present the magnitude of the impact of this one life!  Over 1200 people were estimated in attendance coming from all over the world! Although unconventional, I chose to stand up during my husband's funeral and present the gospel and hundreds of hands were raised and lives were changed. I knew then God was up to something.  Little did I know exactly how big it would be!

That following Thursday God called me in to step into Wade's studio and record my first Facebook LIVE Daily Devo just like he had done for months before.  I had no idea what the response would be.  I just shared my heart with real tears and a real genuine and raw honesty. Over 34,000 people watched that one LIVE Facebook presentation!  With God's help I continued sharing each weekday morning and thousands of people continue to watch to this day!  This was the beginning of CONSUMED BY THE CALL MINISTRIES! 

OUR MISSION:

Consumed By The Call Ministries PURPOSE AND MISSION is to inspire, encourage, and ignite a new fire in the church again,  to bring those far from God back into a passionate walk with Him, and to show the world that Jesus is real and has a purpose and plan for each life.  We KNOW that if we choose...WE CAN LIVE BEYOND THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THIS LIFE, withstand the storms that come at us and conquer the giants that are out to defeat us! We can live beyond this world and we can find purpose even when life doesn't make sense!

HOW WE DO IT

We use social media as a catalyst to get the gospel to as many people as possible. We use platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube each reaching over a billion users.  We have found that the LIVE feature on Facebook is a powerful tool and use it for a Daily Devo that is watched from all over the nation as well as around the world.  Francine has also produce several online video based bible studies and travels and speaks on several subject like:
